Idaho Transportation Department Letter Alert

Sep 23, 2019

News

An issue has come to our attention related to letters issued by the Idaho Transportation Department, which were dated September 11 through 13 and sent to CDL holders. The letters indicate that the recipient’s Commercial Driver’s License was downgraded due to lack of self-certification for the medical card. However in many cases, the recipient did complete the self-certification as required, but the letter was generated and sent in error. The Idaho Transportation Department believes that hundreds of drivers may be affected by this issue, and they have asked recipients to call them at 208-334-8736.
